Your day is getting closer and the wedding is getting more and more shape. As a couple, you are faced with many choices. Which location, which official, which cake, which colors, which dress. And so I can go on and on. One of the things that is on the list of favorites is the photographer.
Earlier I wrote in one of my blogs about the choice of having your wedding photographed by a friend or by a wedding videography singapore . In this blog I will show you how you can take into account your decisions the circumstances that make the photos even more beautiful. As a journalistic photographer, I walk fairly invisibly on the day and that results in ‘frozen moments’. Moments as they are. But I cannot deny that I am very happy when the conditions for the photos are great. That is why I have put 10 tips for you where you can take the photos into account on your day:
TIP 1, THE DRESS TIME:
When you take pictures in the morning during dressing, make sure you do this in a room that has light. Light walls, lots of windows and especially little ‘tinkers’. Of course you do not want the neighbor to see that you are getting dressed, but light translucent curtains provide beautiful diffuse light.
TIP 2, THE MAKE-UP:
Do make up as a bride does. Even if you normally never wear make-up, no whole foundation or eyeshadow of course, but use a beautiful subtle makeup. Your dress is more beautiful, the surroundings are more beautiful, and your day is more beautiful than normal, why should not you use that for trying make-up?
TIP 3: THE LOCATION
When you look for the location for the ceremony, I’ll be very happy as a photographer if that is a location with light walls and lots of windows. Often, I encounter locations with wooden walls with many decorations, this is often more restless and gloomy in the photos than light rooms.
TIP 4, THE LIGHT ON THE LOCATION:
If you discuss the details of the ceremony with the location you found, inform that you as a wedding couple would like to sit with the light during the ceremony. Preferably let the still light be from the side. Which also the guests are not in backlight. (A completely perfect location is of course an outdoor location).
TIP 5: THE MOMENT OF THE WEDDING REPORTAGE
As far as I am concerned, scheduling a moment to take posed photos is not necessary. But if you still want it, please do so at a time when the sun is little lower. At the end of the afternoon or early evening (depending on the wedding date) This makes the light warmer.
